The National Herb Center (Forest Walk)

We parked up in the car park to the entrance of the garden center and walked past the shop and just as you walk round the corner of the shop you meet a great view. Up there they call it 3 counties view because you can see Oxfordshire, Warwickshire and a bit of Gloucestershire. After we finished looking at the view we headed for the display gardens after enjoying the different types of gardens we carried on to the forest which looked almost eerie from afar. We went inside and saw nothing but bare branches and some really nice views with a constant chirping in the background. Some patches of the walk can be muddy but avoidable. Walking past a small lake and up a small hill we noticed a fallen tree that looked like it grew round the others that are still standing. A bit further a long I looked over towards 3 fallen trees and I went over and saw that it was 1 tree fallen down in 4 different directions from the center. We saw a few dragon nests about and the ivy swinging of the trees was very nice.
We found a pile of mossy logs perfect to hide a geocache in since the last one was ruined. After we hid the cache we got out of the forest heading up hill and I was very nearly knocked over by 4 slip sliding dogs running full pelt at me luckily I didn't go over and after a laugh we carried on up the steep hill finally getting on to level ground and enjoying the view of the wobbly wheel and the rolling fields and the route from where we came. We got to a bench and sat down although a bit wobbly we enjoyed the rest. After the rest we came across a poly tunnel and a small vegetable garden with no veg in just a grass path and a tree with a small rhubarb plant next to it after the walk back up the steep hill from where we started the walk we went back to the car we didn't stop for drinks because we only lived about 10 minutes away but i do suggest you stop in the bistro for tea or coffee very nice up there.
